King Bey, joined Instagram 3 weeks ago as @Baddiebey. I wonder if she chose that name because her real name and variations of it is taken by all her fans and of course the frauds. Or, because she’s showing us a different side to her; the bad side! Whatever it is, Beyonce seems to be slowly getting us more comfortable with the real her.
Free of make-up, costume/performance clothing, and red carpet outfits, we get to see her real style. She appears comfortable and relaxed in her photos, natural, yet still very fashionable. None of her pictures have captions, which leave us wanting more. She poses in her outfits of the day (OOTD), showing us why her Instagram name, Baddiebey, is well warranted. I wonder if stylist Ty Hunter is behind these looks? ‘Cuz we’re loving it!!
Beyonce struts her stuff in a black top with a black blazer, and matching pointy toe pumps. The statement piece of the look are her Skinny Jeans. The affordable $50 pants are Moto Jaguar Gold Foil Leigh Skinny Jeans from Topshop. Too bad they are sold out at this time, but I would def keep checking back if I were you!
This look is fierce and fun, but a bit more pricey. The cat eye sunglasses are by Alexander Wang ($355), and her top is a Marni Floral-Jacquard Tee ($570). She tops the look with a cute and flirty Maison Michel lace bunny ears head piece (could not be found for purchase).
With this look, Beyonce rocked Alexander Wang Mustard Dissolving Herringbone Sweater ($440) and J. Crew Paisley Print Twill Wide Leg Pants ($285). She accessorized with some metallic snakeskin pumps, a blue face and band watch, and gold chain detail, clear frame glasses.
Bey showed us some leg skin this time!! Rocking a leather detailed blue jacket, black tee and leather shorts. She wore a tribal print bag, and ended the look with some navy blue tube socks and grey and black leopard printed calf hair boots by Azzedine Alaïa ($1535). Cute!
Beyonce appears to be dancing, and having fun in this photo! She wore her hair back, covered in a beanie. Wearing an unknown tweed jacket with J Brand leather pants in forest green ($895). She has on her usuals, and eye pice, this one with round frames, and her pointed toe pumps.
As we can see, Bey loves oversized sweaters, printed pants, and pointy toe pumps. She rocked her Maison Michel lace bunny ears again, with Ikat Print Skinny Cords from Rag & Bone ($117; on sale), and knuckle duster rings by Maison Martin Magiela ($425).
Aren’t you loving the gritty backgrounds of her undisclosed locations. So swagged out and so secretive!! In this pic, she is rocking another sweater, this one is a 3.1 Phillip Lim Ka-Pow Comic Print Sweater ($554), and Marc by Marc Jacob gold pointed toe flats. She rocks another fave for many this season, leather, with her gold leather pants. Love her accessories and high messy bun.
Another day, another print. This time in the form of a loose fitting Mary Katrantzou Interior Chandelier Printed Dress. ($745). This is one of my favorites. So different than what we see Beyonce the superstar in.
Last but not least, my most favorite, and more my style. This look is everything! Comfortable, layered, black and white (my fave colors; mainly the black). For this look, we know she was in the studio (yay!), as the following pic showed her in the booth). She wore a White Helmut Lang Pointed Cuff Blazer ($645) , Rag & Bone Black and White Leather Panel Skinny Jeans ($118), and to die for Nicholas Kirkwood Face-Print Leather and Velvet Loafers ($925).
As we review Bey’s style, we know her faves are leather, oversized sweaters, pointy toe pumps, blazers, and printed pieces. Different from what we are used to seeing her in. The question is: Is this Beys’s new and improved style or is it her personal style that we haven’t seen before, until now?? Follow Beyonce on Instagram @BaddieBey for more of her style.
