Karrueche Tran is a pretty cover girl.
She is making her rounds, solo dolo, as she recently did a interview with Vibe, where she talked her clothing line and ex Chris Brown. Now she is featured in ROLLING OUT Magazine for a photoshoot where she channels Yoko Ono, who she says is her inspiration.
Yoko Ono was married to Beatles singer John Lennon, and is a Japanese artist who is known for her work in avante-garde art, music and filmmaking. She is also a activist and philanthropist.
We see that Karrueche is attempting to show the world who she is, apart from her ex. I’m ready to find out…
Karrueche is preparing to lauch her clothing line “The Kill”, which was originally set to launch on 12-12-12. She has some experience, as Chris Brown asked her to start and work on his female line to Black Pyramid, his apparel line. She told Vibe, about working with Chris:
“At the end of the day, he will always be a friend. We’ll always care about each other. We won’t allow that to interfere. Our business is business.”
She was styled by celebrity stylist Olori Swank, who is currently styling Keyshia Cole, among others. She wore an Alexander Wang leather dress and Nicholas Kirkwood Fringe shoes (seen in video).
The interview and magazine will be out on January 24. Below is a short behind the scenes clip from the shoot, where Karrueche speaks! I’ve never heard a peep out of her before, so it was intersesting (to me at least!):
I’m sure we will be seeing and hearing a lot more from Karrueche, as she makes a name for her self.
